Ben Kunkel
RNV Coordinator in the United States
Ben Kunkel and his wife Jennifer have a large family of 8 children (5 boys and 3 girls). They are from the city of Indianapolis, Indiana in the United States, where they currently live and serve. Ben is focused and passionate about carrying out the Great Commission, especially in missions for the less-reached and in mobilizing Hispanics to go as missionaries to other places. He has served in various ministerial roles, such as pastor in the United States and director of a ministry in Guatemala called Love Guatemala, where he lived with his family for several years, also serving as a missionary and church planter in this country. In his time in these roles, he has learned that the most important thing is his relationship with the Lord and a complete dependence on Him.
“In 2002 during a youth retreat, I received the call from the Lord to serve as a pastor. Although God had been preparing me for years while I was serving as a missionary in Guatemala, I did not know at that time what this call would entail. Now I can understand it better and God has allowed me to serve as RNV Coordinator in the United States and Director of the RNV Missions department. I consider my duties important, because I have the privilege of accompanying and supporting pastors and future missionaries in their calling. I hope in the coming years to see a movement of disciples and healthy churches advancing the work of God among Hispanics in the United States. We also want to see a global movement of Hispanic missionaries for the glory of God!"
