Nelson Montealegre
RNV Coordinator in Chile
Nelson Montealegre is a Colombian married to Zulema and together with their 3 children, Junior Emanuel, Christoper Josué and Antonella Sharay, have lived in Chile since 2004. Nelson has worked in missionary work supporting various ministries, especially in the work entrusted by God of social intervention and restoration of young people with addictions. During the time he has been serving in Chile, God has allowed him to plant several churches with a focus on social intervention as a catalyst for the gospel.
“Through the missionary trip to Chile of a Colombian pastor friend named Álvaro, I had the opportunity to learn about RNV, with whom I was able to identify with its principles, resources, methodology and calling. After establishing contact and relationship with the global RNV team, in 2021, God allows me to be the RNV Coordinator for Chile. I am convinced that through close and personal work with the most vulnerable communities, we can present the salvation plan of Jesus Christ, applying the tools and resources that God has given us as a network. God has allowed us to reach out, learn about, and present the RNV mission in different locations, regions, and work teams in Chile, and I trust that in this way, we will be able to establish a multifunctional infrastructure that produces a social impact through the gospel.”
