Remberto Barrios
RNV Coordinator in Colombia
Remberto Barrios lives in the city of Medellin, Colombia. He is married to Susana and together they have three children, Saron, Samuel and Sara, and two grandchildren, Felipe and Joseph. He loves the presence of God and has been used as co-founder of Red Nueva Vida, also helping to start RNV in Colombia, Chile, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. He has had the opportunity to share and work for many years with brothers and sisters in Christ from other countries, which has allowed him to minister in cross-cultural contexts and has led him to a deeper dependence on the Lord.
“In my youth, God opened the doors for me to study at a boarding school founded by OMS (One Mission Society) in the city of Magangué. During vacation time I was sent to serve with the children's ministry in the churches, leading the Vacation Bible School in those places. Since then, I have known that my calling is to serve the Lord in all the places He has sent me to do so, and I am currently serving as Coordinator of Red Nueva Vida in Colombia. I look forward and hope to accompany, motivate, encourage and train leaders around the world to develop and grow in the implementation of the processes that God has given us and thus have a great harvest of new disciples, leaders and healthy churches that are instruments for the extension of the Kingdom of God.”
