David began his career as an attorney in Lexington, Kentucky. After fifteen years in practice, he resigned from his law firm and enrolled in classes at Asbury Theological Seminary with the intention of pursuing a career in missions. He, his wife, and three children joined One Mission Society in 1995 and moved to Asia where they spent nine years in ministry. David was then selected by the OMS Board to become mission president, a position in which he served for ten years. He continues to support OMS’s fourfold purpose of evangelism, church planting, training, and partnering with the national church to reach the nations for Christ. David earned a B.A. in Accounting from Murray State University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky, and an M.Div. and Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary.
