Norberto serves as president of the Nuevos Pinos Evangelical Convention in Cuba and is pastor of the First Evangelical Church of Nuevos Pinos in Havana. Prior to pastoring in Havana, he served as academic dean of the Nuevos Pinos Evangelical Seminary in Cuba. From that position, he administered theological education in the institutions and coordinated church planting in different parts of the country. He has also pastored churches in rural and urban contexts. Norberto earned a diploma in theology from the Nuevos Pinos Evangelical Seminary in Cuba, a bachelor’s degree in theology and Bible from the Biblical Seminary of Colombia, and a doctorate in philosophy in theological studies from the International Seminary of Miami. Throughout his ministry, he has catalyzed the process of church planting and community transformation in Cuba. His wife, Marilyn, manages the Havana Training Center. Together they have three children: Allen, Leslie, and Shelly.
